Although with the blur of color over top of the horses neck near the reins does draws the eye of the viewer away from the peaceful and magical atmosphere of the horse and lady.
The blur does look magical in its own way but the horse and lady should be the main attraction with the background adding to the scene.
The blur of color aside, the background being slightly blurred creates a magical effect because of the autumn colors- It creates a fantasy type image and that is very pleasing to the eye.
It's nice to see how much the horse is relaxed by it's ears not being pricked and alert or pinned right back- which would have made for a nonmagical piece of art. The way the sunlight shines
just at the corner of the horses eye shows a nice calm eye.
The lady looks like she's in a place of magic, and the sunlight over her back and against her hair makes her look beautifully angelic.
